The Girl Can’t Help It

The aftermath of the battle with Ryuko has taken a toll on Satsuki. She admits that it’s risky to wear her Junketsu but must do so to counter Ryuko. Nue contacts Satsuki and tell her that her mother would like to speak to her in person. Satsuki immediately returns to her mansion.

Kill La Kill - 16 IMG 1Aikuro (mostly naked) aims to reveal the truth of the Life Fiber to Mako and Ryuko. Satsuki mother seems to have boundary issues and massages her daughter. Back at the Nudest beach headquarters Aikuro tells Ryuko that her father founded “Nudest Beach”.

Kill La Kill - 16 IMG 2Aikuro explains that the Life Fibers caused the homo sapiens species to evolve. Meanwhile, Satsuki and her mother visit the “Original Life Fiber”. The life fibers are an extraterrestrial life form. They are similar to parasites, they feed off the nerve pulses of their host.

Kill La Kill - 16 IMG 3The life fibers cannot inhabit the bodies of their host, they place too much strain on the nervous system. Instead they “cover” the bodies, leaving the hosts alive. Senketsu takes the news of his origins hard, questioning his motives in regard to Ryuko.

Kill La Kill - 16 IMG 4Aikuro states that Senketsu is different, and was created by Dr. Matoi to “fight against the Life Fibers”. Ryuko is resistant to the Life Fibers, which is why her father created Senketsu for her. Ryuko becomes angered at the idea that Nudest Beach wants to use Senketsu as a weapon. She takes Senketsu off and refuses to fight, Tsumugu threatens to kill them both.
