The people beg the Sun God to calm down because of the damage already done to the Land of Gods, but he refuses, saying he can never forgive what was done to him. Meanwhile, the Straw Hats focus on escaping. Luffy is impressed by the effort put into the block world, so he avoids destroying it while they run. When he asks where they’re going, Nami reminds him they’re following the blueprints she found, but then tosses them aside, saying she already memorized everything. As long as they keep moving straight, they’ll reach the exit.
The Sun God traps them in a steel wire net and reveals the room is actually a detention center built to hold even giants, making escape seem impossible. The Straw Hats don’t panic. Zoro and Sanji quickly cut through the net and the crew keeps moving. Shocked, the Sun God tells them they’re heading into the domain of the Ear God, but then notices its skeletal remains. He realizes they already took it down, and it turns out it was just a rabbit called a “Glutbunny.”
Usopp steps up
He starts laughing, saying his “little walled garden” has taken on a life of its own since bringing the Straw Hats there. He admits Hajrudin might acknowledge Luffy, but he doesn’t. Meanwhile, the others begin planning their escape while he’s distracted. Usopp uses Midori Boshi: Dokuro Bakuhatsu So to break a mirror, but the wall behind it doesn’t break. Luffy steps in, preparing to destroy it himself as the Sun God mocks them for struggling.
As Luffy gets ready to use Gear Fourth, Nami says how much the Sun God has angered her. Sanji agrees, mostly because he thinks the Sun God is a pervert for changing Nami’s clothes. Nami calms him down, saying the Sun God is about to receive some “divine punishment.”
Nami strikes Road
In a flashback, it’s revealed that the Sun God is actually Road, the navigator of the New Giant Warrior Pirates. He sent out his raven, Muginn, which returns with the Thousand Sunny and the Straw Hat Pirates all asleep. Road assumes they passed through the Sleeping Mist Zone and got knocked out, but sees it as the perfect opportunity. He never agreed with Hajrudin pledging loyalty to Monkey D. Luffy, viewing humans as beneath giants like himself. When the crew starts to wake up, Road knocks them out again and places them in his set, explaining everything that’s been going on.
Back in the present, Road is still going on about keeping the crew as his “living dolls,” but Nami uses Zeus to zap him, leaving him stunned. Monkey D. Luffy then punches through the wall, giving them an escape route. Usopp hopes Elbaph is on the other side, and Luffy smiles when he looks outside.
