With his new form, Deku Overlay, Deku uses Blackwhip to reinforce and move his body despite the recoil from Gearshift. He covers the area in a thick Smokescreen, but En points out that Tomura can still track him using Search. Instead of going for Deku, Tomura dives straight to the ground, using Decay to try and force him to protect the area. But Deku’s already prepared — he launches a massive chunk of the ground into the air with Blackchains to block Decay’s spread, something he set up earlier when he fell.
As Tomura shoots back into the air, Danger Sense activates. He spots a glowing light behind him and grabs it, only to find Gran Torino’s cape — a decoy just like the one Deku used against Lady Nagant. The cape disintegrates, revealing a Blackwhip tendril carrying Deku’s blood with Kudo’s vestige inside. Tomura realizes too late that Search was locked onto the vestige, not Deku. Before he can react, Deku bursts out from the side of the tendril, ready to strike.
Since Search only works on targets the user can see — and Tomura can now see the vestiges — Deku used Kudo as bait to hide his own presence and get in close. As Deku closes in, Tomura’s body mutates again, fingers growing and wrapping around him like his previous Absolute Defense form.
Deku transfers Gearshift to Tomura
The man fires off an Air Cannon, but he’s too slow — Deku slams his fist straight into Tomura’s chest. In that instant, Kudo transfers himself and Gearshift into the Villain’s body. It’s a tough farewell, but Kudo accepts it, calling himself a ghost from the start. As his final act, he charges into Tomura’s core, destroying both himself and Gearshift but landing massive damage.
Yoichi tells Deku that the transfer mixed his and Tomura’s memories together. En jumps in, warning him to stay alert — Kudo’s plan worked, but Tomura’s still not down.
Deku dives right back in. Their minds clash in a tunnel of broken memories as the other Vestiges move to back him up. Tomura counters with a wave of fingers, but Deku cuts through and lands another clean hit to the chest. This time, though, Tomura’s core rejects the transfer and blasts him back.
Daigoro explains that since All For One can now steal One For All, it’s not surprising he can block a transfer too. Still, Deku’s hit wasn’t wasted — En’s Smokescreen slips through and deals more damage, forcing Tomura to grow even more fingers to defend himself. Deku wishes he could just pass One For All through those extra limbs, but they’re not connected to Tomura’s real body. That’s why the transfer only worked when he hit the chest.
Tomura has a flashes back to his childhood
Just as the battle seems endless, Tomura starts seeing flashes of his father — yelling at him to stop right before he killed him. Snapping back, the villain shouts for Deku to stay away and sends another flood of fingers at him. But Deku smashes through them and charges forward. With one final blow, he breaks through the armor and lands a clean hit on Tomura, pushing the rest of One For All into him.
Inside Tomura’s mind, the vestiges manage to shatter his core, but Nana gets pushed out. She realizes it wasn’t Tomura’s hatred that rejected her — it was her own weakness.
As Tomura’s body starts to crumble, Deku suddenly finds himself in a white void — the inside of the villain’s consciousness — appearing as his younger self from his early U.A. days. In front of him stands Tomura’s childhood home, the center of all his trauma. Deku walks up and reaches for the doorbell, but a voice stops him, asking what he plans to do once he sees what’s inside. Looking up, Deku spots a dark, twisted version of himself — the way Tomura sees him — speaking with Tomura’s voice.
Deku admits he doesn’t know what he’ll do, only that he can’t end this without learning the truth. Before he can move, a truck suddenly bursts out of nowhere and nearly hits him, ripping through his backpack. Even in this strange world, Deku realizes he can still be hurt.
Nana’s Vestige appears
Nana’s Vestige appears and tells Izuku that his mind has now taken solid form in this space. She apologizes for being sent back, but Izuku says he’s just glad to have her there with him. Smiling at his gratitude, Nana explains that this space represents her grandson’s origin — fragile and delicate, just like the past version of their opponent.
She tells Izuku to touch the moment tied to Tomura’s origin and strike it. Izuku charges toward the front door, but a projection of Stain suddenly drops from above, pinning him down and cutting his right shoulder. Stain’s head shifts into Re-Destro’s, who asks what Izuku plans to do with the weight he’s carrying. Then Overhaul appears from Re-Destro’s face, asking if Izuku has a plan.
Izuku says no and brushes them away before getting up and opening the door. He falls into a black void where a massive family photo of Nana and Kotaro hovers. Behind them, a huge projection of Hana replays the moment she told her brother the truth, and Nana starts to tear up.
Izuku and Nana move deeper into the void and reach the backyard, set during the evening before Tomura awakened his Quirk. They watch Kotaro strike a small void figure to the ground as Mon growls defensively at him. Nana freezes when she sees her son, and Izuku realizes the void being hit is a young Tomura — back when he was still the helpless Tenko Shimura.

We’re getting closer and closer to a possible Koichi cameo if they keep it in the anime.
