My Hero Academia Season 4 – Episode 15: Recap and Review

Episode 15 of My Hero Academia opening with Gran Torino and Naomasa Tsukauchi searching for Kurogiri that has been sight numerous times. Kurogiri is captured by Torino. He alludes to a “ruffian” that has appeared in the mountains. Suddenly, they hear a loud noise. Kurogiri recalls All For One asking him to protect Tomura if anything happened to him. However, if he’s ever “uneasy” he should ask for help from one of All For One’s servants, Gigantomachia. He’s a massive man the size of a tree. He weirdly carries a portable radio with him. It’s not clear whether his size is due to his Quirk or not.

Izuku and the others will return to U.A. High School, however, Mirio will take leave. When Izuku goes to see him, he’s cheerful and doing exercises. Taking Sir Nighteye’s advise, Mirio aims to keep smiling. Feeling guilty, Izuku asks Mirio if he would accept One For All. Mirio replies that he would refuse such an offer. Mirio is certain that Eri will be able to return his Quirk.

Return to school

Izuku, Eijiro, Ochaco and Tsuyu return to school. Understandably, their classmates have a lot of questions. Iida tries to calm them down. While Ochaco feels guilty for failing to save Sir Nighteye’s life, Aizawa tells her that she “bears no responsibility and the fault lies with the Heroes.” Bakugo is typically anger and while clearly concerned, head decides to head to bed. Todoroki also decides to call it a night. They both have “provisional Hero License training,” the next day. The following morning, Shoto and Bakugo are heading to the training, guarded by All Might and Present Mic. While there they encounter, Camie Utsushimi, Seiji Shishikura and Inasa Yoarashi, who also have to take the “Provisional Hero License training.”

This episode was a good transition to the next arc, the Remedial Course Arc.
