The parents of the children arrive at their location as Colon explains that Gaban fell into the Underworld and warns them to watch out for Gunko. One of the parents gets close enough to try and help, only to be stabbed by Sommers’ thorns. Imu hears the noise and unleashes a blast of Supreme King Haki that knocks the children unconscious along with some of the giants. Imu then sprouts devil-like wings and a tail, along with a trident. They draw a magic circle and summon cannons to blast the giants away.
Imu asks Killingham if “this is the limit of what his MMAs can do.” Killingham explains that the “Nightmare Hole” he spawned them from is still open, allowing them to manifest from every nightmare on the island. On top of that, since they have no concept of death, he can command them to revive whenever he wants. Imu contacts Sommers, who has put himself back together despite being in pain, and tells him to oversee the kidnapped children. Meanwhile, Jinbe notices that Gunko seems different from before as Robin asks where Luffy is. She learns that he, Zoro, Sanji, and the New Giant Warrior Pirates are all down in the Underworld and have no idea what is going on. This prompts Robin to use her powers to try and free herself rather than wait until the end to be captured.
Imu decides to make Dorry and Brogy Kings
Imu says their next problem is figuring out how to use the children if Elbaph has no king. They decide to make Dorry and Brogy the new kings of the country. Brogy angrily grabs Imu as the giants charge to back him up, but Imu remains unfazed. They tell Brogy that they will kill Jarul and announce to everyone on the island that the two of them are the new kings.
Imu then summons a grimoire and conjures a shotgun, which they use to blow off Brogy’s hand and free themselves. Interestingly, no blood comes out. Imu tells Brogy that they will bestow upon him the “Power of Evil.” They create a magic circle underneath Brogy’s feet and explain that in exchange for some of his lifespan, he will receive immortality and phenomenal strength. However, by being bound to them, he will lose all sense of reason and logic and obey only them. According to Imu, demons are the only proper form for life to take.
Carnage until Elbaph is broken
Kashii begs the transformed captains not to kill Jarul because he is the oldest living giant in the world and a hero of legend. However, Brogy says that it is because Jarul has become so old that they must kill him. Dorry announces that once they do, the two of them will take their places as Elbaph’s new kings and bring about an era of war and ruthlessness. The giants try to stop them, but some of them get transformed into demons because they get too close to the two captains, forcing the rest to retreat.
Meanwhile, Ripley overhears that Gaban has been taken down by the enemy and rushes to her son’s side. Unfortunately, the captive children have fallen asleep once again, allowing Killingham, now in his hybrid form, to manifest more MMAs. He also begins reviving the ones that were defeated earlier, saying that now that Imu has taken the stage, he has no reason to hold back. The captive Straw Hats watch as the country descends into chaos while the giants continue trying to save the children, with some of their mothers stepping in to help.
Afterward, Sommers asks Imu how long the carnage will continue. Imu declares that they will continue until the country’s spirit is broken. Imu also adds that if Harald had not messed up in the past, they would have conquered the country by now.
