As Mafuyu and Toramaru fight Gaku’s vessel, Kaji notices that the vessel is asleep and there’s “precision equipment”, being used. However, he’s uncertain that he won’t sound insane. Suddenly, Gaku stops claiming that the “field is limited”. The vessel is named, “Shinaya”, and he was chosen for his flexibility. Gaku decides that he’ll just attack and whoever survives will get recruited. Toramaru, Shin, and Mafuyu get overwhelmed by Gaku’s strength. Kaji tries to rescue them and escape, but Mafuyu refuses to let Shin down.
Toramaru sends Mafuyu flying towards Shinaya, but he only managers to crack Gaku visor. Kaji is impressed. Despite losing badly, he’s still thinks they’re cool. Shin gets back up and reads his mind. He encourages Kaji to fight. He agrees and asks that they follow him. Kaji tells Shin that he thinks someone is controlling Shinaya and deduces that there’s a “lag”, that should allow him to evade his attacks. The lag is only 0.5 seconds. Together, Kaji and Shin think that with the lag and Shin’s clairvoyant ability they might win.
Sakamoto steps in
Unfortunately, Shin can’t read Kaji’s mind quick enough. Gaku lands two more devastating blows on Shin. Desperate, Shin decides that instead he needs to uses his ability to read the future, Kaji’s future. As Shin starts to fatigue, Kaji shows he has the ability to replicate Gaku’s attack with sound. He also predicts the limits of Gaku’s environment, when Gaku hits the wall, Shin and Kaji attack. However, they’re still overpowered and Gaku decides to take it up another notch.
He blows a massive hole in Kaji’s stomach and Shin collapses from overuse of his powers. Gaku kicks him one more time, but when he tries to finish off Shin, Sakamoto arrives. Gaku gets excited to face Sakamoto, as the legendary assassin tells Shin to take the others and leave. Sakamoto punches a hole in the wall causing the ground water to push him and Gaku’s vessel outside. He then lands in the abandoned plane with the vessel and uses the interior of the plane to attack Gaku/Shinaya. Sakamoto quickly defeats Gaku.
