One Piece Episode 1175: “Elbaph in Flames! Jinbe’s Shoulder Throw Explodes!”

Goldberg, Zoro, and Sanji go hunting for food in the Underworld when they come across a huge dinosaur called a “Groggysaurus.” Goldberg uses his sentient shield, Nash, to block the dinosaur’s bite while Sanji launches Zoro into the air. Zoro then decapitates the dinosaur. Afterward, Goldberg tells them that Groggysaurus meat is delicious, especially when it is stewed in alcohol. Sanji points out that they do not have any alcohol, but Goldberg explains that there is a hunting cabin nearby with useful cooking tools. On the way back they can also look for herbs.

Zoro asks Goldberg why his shield is alive and if it has something to do with a Devil Fruit. Goldberg explains that Nash came to life after his father went on an expedition to kill Big Mom. Nash is actually a Homie, similar to Zeus. Goldberg is surprised to learn that a Homie as powerful as Nash is now working for Nami.

Feeding Loki

Back with Loki, he tells the New Giant Warrior Pirates and Luffy that he was attacked by the Knights of God. This surprises everyone. Hajrudin wonders if the attack was punishment for Loki’s past rampages at sea, but Loki rejects the idea. He says that if he had traveled far enough to encounter the Knights of God, he would already be the king of the world.

Goldberg, Zoro, and Sanji return with the Groggysaurus while the other Giants prepare a fire. Once the meat is cooked, Luffy tries to shove some into Loki’s mouth without letting it cool down. The meat burns Loki, who asks if Luffy is trying to kill him by reopening his wounds. Loki eventually eats the meat, but has trouble eating while lying on his back and begins to choke. Luffy quickly grabs a cup of soup that is still boiling hot, but accidentally spills it on Loki and burns him again. Loki tells everyone to keep Luffy as far away from him as possible. Gerd, however, gives Luffy a thumbs up for what he did.

Zoro starts to think that Loki is lying about the promise he made to Luffy. Loki explains that he is telling the truth, but he still refuses to talk about himself because they have not removed the last of his shackles. He does admit that he understands Luffy’s desire to reunite with his idol. Loki felt the same way when he was younger, although he regrets that he was only a boy at the time.

Young Loki meets the Rock Pirates

In a flashback, a young Loki wanted to join the Rocks Pirates, but Rocks refused to let him join. Loki challenged Rocks to a fight but was quickly beaten. Back in the present, Loki laments that he was born in the wrong era.

In the Sun World, Dorry and Brogy do their best to fight off the attacking Draugr and ghost MMAs. Gaban attacks one that looks like Loki and easily defeats it. He says he’s glad these creatures are just children’s nightmares, thinking that if the children met the real Loki they might actually be stronger. Gaban then senses the presence of the Knights of God and says that if Elbaph is no longer safe, then the world is truly coming to an end.

Meanwhile, the Giants are unable to put out the fire because of how massive it is. Saul, who defeated the Fenrir MMA, tells the firefighters to pick up the pace because the children are almost at the flames. Gunko and Sommers watch as the firefighters struggle. Sommers asks Gunko if the children will wake up once they start burning. Gunko says they will wake up and cry for their parents before burning to ash, causing Sommers to laugh.

Jinbe saves the children

The firefighters ultimately fail to put out the flames in time and the children begin walking into the fire. Saul chases after them, but suddenly Jinbe uses a move called Umigumo Ipponzeoi to throw a huge amount of sea clouds at the fire, successfully putting it out. The children are safe for now, but they are still following Gunko’s arrow.

The Giant Warrior Pirates praise the firefighter squad for putting out the fire, even though the firefighters know they were not the ones who actually did it. Robin suspects that Jinbe is nearby as he secretly gets back onto Colon’s ship without anyone noticing. Colon tells the Straw Hats that everyone at school dislikes him, but that does not mean he will not help them when they are in need.

Just then, Gunko appears on the bow of the ship and wonders how the school is not the only place where you can find a child as perky as Colon.
