My Hero Academia Season 8, Episode 3: The Final Boss!!

As the storm rages across the battlefield, the weather around the world begins to twist from the chaos in Japan. The world holds its breath—because this earth-shattering battle is about to change with the power of just one person.

With only a glance, Deku and the newly revived Dynamight know what needs to be done. No words. No hesitation. Dynamight drops from the Coffin in the Sky as Deku swings in, still holding Tomura with Blackwhip. The two lock hands, exchange one final look, and turn their sights on All For One and All Might.

The Second User realizes what Deku’s planning and warns him not to use Gearshift yet. The recoil could kill him. But when he sees All Might’s fading vestige behind Deku, he goes silent—finally understanding why Deku won’t stop.

Deku activates Second Gear. Power surges through Dynamight’s body as he builds up Cluster Explosions in both hands. Then—timing perfect—Deku launches him forward. Dynamight blasts through the ruined city at breakneck speed, pushing his explosions and his resolve to the limit.

Dynamight rescues All Might

Dynamight swoops in just in time, saving All Might from certain death. All For One stares in disbelief, flames consuming him as his freshly torn-off arms fly through the air. All Might’s vestige glows once more, returning to its golden form. Shocked, All Might looks up at his student—his savior—who yells out that they’re going to win this.

The two crash-land on a nearby rooftop, slowing down just enough to avoid a fatal fall. Around the world, people watching breathe a collective sigh of relief. The former Symbol of Peace is safe, and some even realize who it was that saved him. All Might asks if Dynamight’s okay, and the boy fires back that the question was supposed to be his line.

A second later, Dynamight coughs up a puddle of blood. Edgeshot’s voice cuts in, saying that it’s his line too. What’s left of him—little more than a head attached to a thin, frayed thread—pulls free from the sutures in Dynamight’s chest. He explains that he forced out the blood from the boy’s internal bleeding to help him breathe easier. Then, after asking how Dynamight’s holding up, he coughs once more and slips away, collapsing into a small puddle.

Barely holding himself together, Edgeshot tells Dynamight he did everything he could—mending shattered bones and torn organs with his “Hidden Hakamada Style” stitching. He assures the boy that nothing will come undone, even if every breath burns like fire. Dynamight thanks him for keeping him alive, but Edgeshot only shakes his head, saying all he really did was patch someone up.

Dynamight vs All For One

Dynamight looks up and wonders if that floating kid is really All For One. All Might confirms it. Since he can’t move because of Bloodcurdle, All Might reaches out his armored arm and tells Dynamight to take his hand. Dynamight kneels beside him, and All Might explains that while his last piece of armor can’t fight anymore, it can still act as a splint for Dynamight’s crushed arm. The armor reshapes around Dynamight’s arm as All Might names it “Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight,” saying it’s all he has left to give. Dynamight smiles back at him.

Meanwhile, AFO considers finishing off All Might as his arms regenerate but decides to head back instead to power up Tomura and take One For All through him. He’s furious that the Heroes keep ruining his plans.

Before he can get far, Dynamight blasts forward and catches up, calling himself the final boss. He grabs All For One’s head and slams him into the ground with a huge explosion. As All For One sees flashes of his past with the Second User—just like Tomura did—Dynamight shouts that he’s here to finish what One For All started.

Back on the battlefield, AFO recovers from the blast, but Dynamight pushes through the agony tearing through his body. Ignoring the pain from his Quirk, he keeps detonating explosion after explosion, building up speed and force with every blast. All For One charges ahead toward Tomura and Deku, but Dynamight refuses to let him go. Using the crackling pain in his body as a rhythm, he times a massive explosion that launches him right back into range.

Kacchan Bakugo is the final boss

Even as he’s bleeding out and crashing through buildings, Dynamight just laughs, amazed by his own speed. He swears he’s not stopping—no matter what. Thinking back to his doubts about catching up to Deku, he finally realizes something’s changed. Now, racing alongside All For One, it actually feels possible.

Meanwhile, at Shiketsu High, the evacuees watch in awe. Mitsuki tells Masaru to look at their son fighting for his life, but Masaru can’t bring himself to do it, tears in his eyes. She insists anyway—because even now, their boy still has that same reckless, determined smile.

All For One suddenly recognizes something in Dynamight. He reminds him of the Second User of One For All. The villain flashes back to their final battle—blood everywhere, his enemy on the brink of death, declaring that Yoichi is gone forever, and that it’s All For One’s fault. Fueled by that old rage, AFO loses control and hurls Dynamight through a tower.

From the rubble, he screams the name of the man who once stole his brother away—Kudo. But Dynamight fires back, shouting that he’s got the wrong name. With a final burst of pride, he roars, “It’s Kacchan Bakugo!”
