Panda and Megumi take out several guards, as Megumi shows off some new dimensions of his shadow ability. They regroup on the roof where Kirara see them and activates her cursed technique to protect Hakari. Megumi summons Divine Dog: Totality to attack Kirara. She sends the Divine Dog back at Megumi surprising him.
Jujutsu Kaisen is known for it’s complex cursed techniques or at least techniques that are difficult to understand. Kirara Hoshi’s cursed technique, “Love Rendezvous” , is one of the most interesting and confusing. Megumi uses his intellect, summons, and working with Panda to deduce her ability.
Love Rendezvous is as follows:
- Love Rendezvous assigns five “stars” with a Southern Cross motif in order to target cursed energy.
- In order to mark something with a star, the user must make physical contact with someone’s cursed energy.
- Anyone that has been marked will experience a sparking light above their head when the technique is activated.
- They can also find the name of the star they’ve been marked with written somewhere on their body.
- Only one star can be placed on one person’s cursed energy at a time but the same star can be applied to multiple different people’s cursed energy.
- If the user needs to mark multiple different objects with stars, the objects need to be charged by someone else’s cursed energy beforehand.
- Anyone appointed with a star must follow a sequential order if they want to attempt approaching another star.
- Otherwise, they will be unable to close the distance between them and a target with the same star will be attracted to them and unable to separate.
- The determined route is organized based on stars in the constellation from nearest to the furthest distance from the earth. The order is as follows: ★Imai → ★Acrux → ★Mimosa → ★Ginan → ★Gacrux.
Megumi and Panda try and fail to convince Kirara that they come in peace. After tricking Kirara. Megumi finally gets the upper hand. He begs Kirara to “hear him out”. Suddenly, the door of the monitor room burst open. Hakari has been landing punches on Yuji without the later defending himself. He decided that he won’t “fight back anymore until Hakari breaks.”
When Hakari asks Yuji “why he wants his help”? Yuji responds “that all his senpai have confirmed Hakari is strong.” Hakari is stunned by Yuji’s resistance. Yuji claims, as he’s done before, that he’s a “cog” in the machine that eliminates cursed spirits. Yuji’s stubbornness and Kirara’s interruptions manage to convince Hakari to join them. He still wants Megumi and Panda to make a deal with him.
Suddenly, Kogane appears and reveals that a player has added a new rule: allowing players to have access to information on other players. This information includes their name, number of points, number of rules added, and their current colony. This rule was added by one of the ancient jujutsu sorcerers and fan favorite, Hajime Kashimo.
