Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Episode 10, “Pandemonium,” starts with the Kokichi Muta revealing that he had an “insurance,” plan if he was killed before the Shibuya incident. Mechamaru appears as a small circular ear device that Yuji immediately tries to destroy. He fails and is eventually is convinced that Mechamaru is on their sides. Mechamaru tells them that Satoru Gojo has been sealed. Elsewhere, Geto says Gojo “they’ll meet again in the new world.” Gojo has resigned himself to his fate but tell Suguru to “wake up.” Suddenly, Geto’s hand begins to choke his own neck. Pseudo-Geto is amused. Mahito awakens from the trance Gojo’s Domain put him end. He and Geto discuss their theory of the body and soul. The banter annoys Gojo, who tells them to “hurry up.” Geto agrees and tells the Prison Realm to “close.”
Mei Mei and Ui Ui prepare to face a curse users, Niji Ebina and his bulldog curse. Yuji is tasked with informing the others of Gojo’s fate. Geto has a issue with the Prison Realm which gains a lot of weight and hits the ground creating a massive crater. We get a glimpse into the Prison Realm, time doesn’t pass and Gojo is alone surrounded by skeletons. He acknowledges that he’s “messed up,” but he’s not concerned because he has faith in his allies.
Yuji, Megumi, and Ino spring into action
Yuji climbs to the top of a high building and screams the news about Gojo informing the other Jujutsu Sorcerers. Team Nanami head towards Yuji and then Nanami head into the veil looking to find Ijichi. Tragically, Ijichi was brutally murdered by Haruto Shigemo under the orders of Uraume. With Gojo out of the way everyone’s attention shift. Choso and Mahito want to kill Yuji but Jogo wants to revive Sukuna. They get into a mild tiff over it but concluded that whoever reaches Yuji first can decide what to do.
The threat Gojo’s sealing has for the Jujutsu sorcerer world and Japan was mentioned a number of times. Ino explains that if Gojo isn’t freed, the Gojo clan (which is mostly just him) will fall and the forces of evil (curse spirits and curse users) will become embolden without his presence. With this backdrop, Yuji, Ino, and Megumi prepare to get ride of the veils.
