As the kaiju charges in, Momo urges everyone to start pressing buttons to get the mecha working—but nothing happens. Okarun ends up getting ejected, and the Evil Eye forces his way out too. The two watch helplessly as the kaiju attacks, with Momo, Aira, and Kinta still trapped inside. The Evil Eye’s fired up to fight, but Okarun’s more worried about his friends. Just as he’s about to let the Evil Eye loose, the mecha suddenly moves on its own, blocking the kaiju’s strike with its arm. Shocked, Okarun realizes it’s responding to visualization. Once Kinta figures that out, he takes control, kicking the kaiju back and yelling about finally getting to pilot a mecha. The machine transforms according to his imagination, and Kinta launches into battle.
Kinta goes all out, landing hit after hit with pure excitement, finally living his dream. But the tide turns fast—the kaiju vanishes, reappears, and takes out the mecha’s left leg. It slams the machine to the ground, leaving it crippled. Okarun tells Kinta to eject, but the airbags trap him inside. The kaiju keeps pummeling the mecha, and Kinta starts to panic. Just then, Momo—dizzy from all the motion—channels her energy through the mecha and grabs the kaiju’s tail to stop it. Aira joins in, using her Acrobatic Silky hair through the mecha to wrap around the invisible kaiju and reveal its position.
Momo and Aira return home
Kinta wants to keep fighting, but Momo and Aira have had enough. Taking over, Momo powers up the mecha’s arms, lifts the kaiju high into the air, and slams it down with a massive powerbomb—declaring this is the right way to defeat a kaiju.
After delivering a powerful final blow, Momo takes down the kaiju, shrinking it until it collapses unconscious. With the battle over, Momo, Aira, and Kinta return to the real Kamigoe City — leaving their massive mecha suddenly exposed in the open. Thinking fast, Momo transforms the mecha into a UFO-like ship and flies it out of the city, heading straight back home. Once they land, Momo and Aira rush out, dizzy from the flight, while Kinta tears up, overwhelmed by the thrill of piloting a real mecha.
The Kaiju Girl
Later, the group brings the unconscious kaiju to the Ayase residence with Jiji, who Okarun manages to return to normal using a hot meat bun. When Kinta steps outside, he scolds the others for showing up late and insists on being filled in about their secret missions. Okarun explains that he and Momo are searching for one of his missing kintama—a target wanted by both aliens and spirits. Kinta assumes it’s something that could decide the fate of the world, but Okarun quickly shoots that idea down. Even when Kinta offers to help, Okarun refuses, not wanting to drag him into the danger.
As they turn their attention back to the kaiju, Okarun notices something strange inside its mouth—a piece of a person. With Jiji and Kinta too nervous to investigate, Okarun steps up and finds a zipper running down the kaiju’s body. When he unzips it, the group is stunned to discover a girl inside—the kaiju was actually a suit! Just as the girl begins to wake up, Okarun locks eyes with her. Meanwhile, Momo, still queasy from earlier, walks outside and catches the shocking moment as the kaiju girl suddenly kisses Okarun, leaving everyone speechless.
