That’s interesting. Part of me kinda expected Pokemon to be the highest grossing.
I figure that too. Doraemon is probably more popular in Japan.
In all my casual knowledge of anime, I have never remotely heard of Glitter Force.
Me neither. It seems like fans of Sailor Moon must love it.
Probably because nobody calls it that. It’s the name Saban gave to Pretty Cure.
If Dragon Ball could start consistently churning out films I could see it going higher but it’s hard to compete with the top 3 since those seem to get new installments every year. Good to see that Naruto jumped on though. Hopefully it can stay in the top 10
Since Naruto series ended I think they may get surpassed at some point. However, DB seems to have left the possibility of a Broly sequel.
Wasn’t expecting Yo-kai Watch. Everything else except Evangelion (whose movies are more spread out, and more of A Big Deal) has double-digit numbers of movies, but Yo-kai only has four…but a higher average than Dragon Ball or One Piece.
Yo-Kai must be a really popular series.
