Female Titan: 57th Expedition Beyond the Walls, Part 1
Simply EPIC. This episode was amazing and definitely the best yet. I found the flare formation to be interesting although it didn’t seem to work in the episodes. The episode had suspense due to the fact that were exposed in the open field. Sasha’s encounter with the crawling titan manage to be both frightening and humorous. But enough about that the female titan was the most important aspect of the show. Female titans are not new but this titan is clearly different. The intellect of the female titan is instantly made clear when she blocks her weakness. She’s fast and brutal which was displayed when she killed Ness and Cis . Armin’s attempt to get away made feel for his predicament.
Armin being such an important character I wasn’t surprised that she didn’t kill. However, the manner of there encounter did surprise me. It was clear that she looked at his face to see who he was (which leaves me to believe she knows who he is). Armin gets to show off his analytical mind in this episode. He deduced that like all the other intelligent titans she must be a human in titan form like Eren. The ending was finished with a flourish Reiner surprisingly surviving being caught by the female titan.
As for my theory for who the titan is probably “Annie“. The female titan has blonde hair and blue eyes ( I know Historia Reiss has the same character traits). Historia does seem to have the appropriate personality or fighting skills to be the titan. In addition to this she joined the scouting legion, I doubt she could get away and transform without getting noticed. Furthermore, Annie joined the military police giving her plenty of opportunity. In addition to this she seem to have some animosity toward humanity. I know that the manga is ahead so maybe the female titan has already been revealed but I won’t cheat. So what do you think of this episode. Is it the best episode yet? Does my theory make sense? Is the next episode better?
