Zombieman advances through the Monster Association HQ along his strike route, wiping out every monster in his path. He soon runs into a group of monsters who guide him into a room, claiming they have no intention of attacking him and only want him to fight something inside. Zombieman goes along with it and enters the room, which the monsters seal shut behind him.
Inside, Zombieman comes face to face with Pureblood and the two immediately clash. Despite taking numerous fatal wounds, Zombieman keeps fighting until he finally kills Pureblood. After the battle, he notes that it has been a long time since he faced an opponent that strong, and that the fight left him worn out.
Zombieman bends the door’s bar around the handles to lock the room, then turns his attention to the monsters who had been watching the fight. He kills all of them before leaving the room. Zombieman then takes a short break to recover, healing himself while smoking a cigarette and checking his Locator. Child Emperor contacts him to report that the hostage, Waganma, has been rescued and is being brought to the surface. He orders all heroes to continue their missions, but warns them not to push too far into the Monster Association HQ.
Zombieman wins
Once finished resting, Zombieman stands up fully healed and continues down his strike route. Pig God runs into The Great Food Tub and the two immediately clash. The sounds of their fight catch the attention of Iaian, Bushidrill, and Okamaitachi, who shift their focus back to Do-S and the mind-controlled mercenaries. As the mercenaries attack, Do-S tries to brainwash Bushidrill with her whip, but Sweet Mask snatches it out of the air. He tells the sword disciples to move on and leave the fight to him, warning that this matchup is bad for them and that they would eventually be brainwashed as well.
Iaian and Bushidrill hesitate, uneasy about abandoning Sweet Mask, but Okamaitachi convinces them to retreat and trust his judgment. The three withdraw, leaving Sweet Mask alone with Do-S and Narinki’s Private Squad. Do-S reveals that she is a fan of Sweet Mask and offers to undo the brainwashing if she can spend time with him. Sweet Mask immediately shuts her down, saying bargaining will not work on him. In response, Do-S orders her slaves to attack and declares that she will make Sweet Mask her own.
Is Sweet Mask just a murderer?
Meanwhile, the disciples regroup in another area and wonder what Sweet Mask plans to do. Iaian believes Sweet Mask intends to kill the brainwashed mercenaries. At first he doubts this, unsure if Sweet Mask is really that kind of person, but the group recalls what he did to the surviving Dark Matter Thieves. They begin to realize that Sweet Mask’s actions align more with those of a murderer than a traditional hero.
Sweet Mask is about to execute the Narinki Squad when the disciples suddenly return and knock out the brainwashed mercenaries with surprise attacks. Their interruption allows Sweet Mask to turn on Do-S, grabbing her whip and slamming her head into the wall, leaving her disoriented. He is clearly annoyed that the swordsmen interfered with what he considers justice. The swordsmen claim they thought Sweet Mask sent them away to lower the enemy’s guard. Picking up on Sweet Mask’s suspicion, Iaian tells the others to apologize and play along, while quietly deciding to look into Sweet Mask after the raid.
Sweet Mask briefly considers killing the swordsmen as well, seeing them as tainted for aiding villains. Before he can act, the Narinki Squad wakes up and thanks the heroes for saving them. As Sweet Mask stands silently, Do-S launches a surprise attack, wrapping her leg around his neck and stabbing his eye with her tongue. She is shocked when there is no blood and notices his face and eye are only cracked, realizing he is not human. Before she can say anything, Sweet Mask instantly crushes her head, killing her.
The freed mercenaries rush over to check on Sweet Mask. He calmly says he is fine, his damaged eye already healed. The squad then recognizes him and begins asking for autographs and photos. Irritated by the fanboying, Sweet Mask orders the three swordsmen to escort the mercenaries back to the surface while he remains behind on the battlefield.
The Devil Long Hair
Iaian, Bushidrill, and Okamaitachi continue fighting their way through the monsters. After cutting through the floor beneath them, they fall to a lower level and encounter the Mysterious Being Devil Long Hair. Okamaitachi is momentarily distracted by the monster’s appearance but quickly refocuses and attacks with an Air Blade. Devil Long Hair blocks the attack with his hair and launches a counterattack from underground. Working together, the three heroes target his hair while recalling Kamikaze’s teachings and reaffirming their resolve to follow the path of heroes who have surpassed human limits.
Elsewhere, Puri-Puri Prisoner battles multiple monsters. A large explosion erupts, and the monsters laugh, convinced they have defeated him. When the smoke clears, Puri-Puri Prisoner is revealed to still be standing. Back with Iaian’s group, the three disciples are bruised and battered but manage to slice through every strand of Devil Long Hair’s hair. The monster collapses and admits that it was his weakness. The disciples are surprised by their victory, acknowledging they could not have won alone, and worry that more monsters of similar strength may appear. Iaian reassures them that they do not need to worry about their master.
Atomic Samurai vs G5
The episode then shifts to Atomic Samurai, who is shown cutting down monsters with ease. A sword-wielding monster called Sword Devil Executioner praises Atomic’s swordsmanship after surviving an initial slash. Atomic Samurai immediately finishes him off before he can react and asks if any other monsters are still alive. G5 raises its mechanical hand, claiming it has analyzed all of Atomic’s movements, and the two engage in a rapid sword duel.
Atomic Samurai easily cuts down multiple monsters. One survivor, a sword-wielding monster called Sword Devil Executioner, praises Atomic’s swordsmanship. Atomic is surprised the monster lived through his opening slash and finishes him off before he can react. He then asks if any monsters are still alive and tells them to raise their hands. G5 responds by lifting its mechanical arm and claims it has fully analyzed Atomic’s movements. The two immediately clash in a rapid sword duel.
Atomic Samurai vs the Black Sperm
Atomic comments that modern “toys” are becoming interesting and jokes that he would like to buy one. G5 launches an attack, even copying the Atomic Slash with dual swords. It still isn’t enough. Atomic Samurai slices G5 into hundreds of pieces and is visibly disappointed. He notes that he couldn’t cut through the Machine God’s core, which appears to be made of an unknown material even tougher than G5’s exterior. As dust fills the area, a laser fires from within the smoke. Atomic deflects it and counters with an Air Blade. When the dust clears, he realizes the real enemy has already escaped and leaves the pursuit to the surface heroes.
The focus shifts to Atomic Samurai’s disciples speaking with Narinki’s Private Squad. The mercenaries admit they envy how the swordsmen can suppress their bloodlust in battle and invite them to join their private military company. The disciples decline, explaining that hero work is part of their training.
Bushidrill asks Tongara whether his group values heroism or swordsmanship. Tongara responds that such ideals don’t matter in real combat. He explains that mercenaries rely on dirty tactics, like pretending to be afraid to deceive enemies. He recalls how the squad cried in front of monsters, saying it looked like acting but was actually genuine fear. Iaian is impressed by their teamwork and acknowledges there is something to learn from their approach.
The scene abruptly cuts to Tareo being chased by Black Sperm. Just as the monster closes in, a sudden slash from Atomic Samurai forces it to dodge, stopping the pursuit.
