At the start of One Piece Episode 1108, S-Snake turns York into a stone statue and proceeds to knock he over and target Pythagoras, Lilith, Franky, and Usopp. York orders her to stop but the Seraphim isn’t responding to her commands. S-Snake fires a laser beam at the fleeing crew. Elsewhere, S-Bear fires a laser beam a Zoro, who flees with a sleeping Kaku and Lucci. S-Hawk and Zoro clash. S-Hawk targets Kaku and Lucci while they lay on the floor. Luffy arrives with Shaka but when the Vegapunk tries to command the Seraphim he fails like the others. Someone with higher authority has commanded them.
A traitor among them
Back with Lilith’s group, Franky suggests fighting S-Snake but Lilith says that’s “impossible,” because “she isn’t someone you can defeat.” Luffy and Zoro prepare to fight the Seraphim when Kaku and Lucci awaken and offer a truce so they may defend themselves. Both Zoro and Luffy are disgusted at the offer. Elsewhere, Government agents are left trapped inside Vegapunk’s Lab. Shockingly, they’re trapped with the original Dr. Vegapunk. He claims that he was ignorant of the betrayal that was occurring on the Island. He wonders if his ponegliff’s research was leaked to the government.
At the Navy headquarters, more and more ships are being sent to Egghead Island. Sentomaru warns the civilians that they must leave the Island or they’ll end up like the Ohara citizens. Meanwhile, Luffy and Zoro hear Kaku and Lucci out. Kaku promises that when they finish they’ll “submit to being handcuffed again.” Luffy agrees right away but Zoro isn’t falling for it. Suddenly, S-Hawk attacks cutting the conversation short. Zoro is shocked to see that S-Hawk can use Baldy’s Dice-Dice Devil Fruit technique.
