Heroes begin pouring out of Kurogiri’s portals from all sides. Deku’s classmates arrive along with students from other Hero schools and every Pro Hero still able to fight. They explain that once the Police confirmed Eraser Head had regained control of Kurogiri, they rushed in immediately. None of them were willing to abandon Deku now.
“All For One” watches the reinforcements arrive and is shocked that his successor’s body and mind are still functioning after Deku destroyed Tomura through One For All. Even with another chance to continue his plan, he feels empty after losing Yoichi’s vestige along with the quirk. He believes the permanent loss of his brother is the reason his own vestige survived.
“All For One” rises into the air and tells Deku that he now understands something—that tragedy is what creates strength. As he speaks, his arms and left leg split open and gray, spiked tendrils spread across the battlefield.
Cellophane steps forward to oppose him. Unlike the others, he lived a normal life and only trained so he wouldn’t be left behind. He rushes toward “All For One” and says someone he knows—someone who always looked spaced out—was dealt a terrible hand in life. He believes tragedies like that should never have happened.
Heroes arrive
Two portals open on the battlefield and Endeavor and Shoto slam into “All For One” with simultaneous Flashfire Fist attacks. Cellophane pulls Shoto to safety with his tape and confirms that Shoto was the person he was talking about and that his situation has stayed on his mind since Dabi’s first defeat.
Even though the Heroes outnumber All For One, the difference in power is clear. It takes multiple Heroes just to block or dodge a single attack, and they still can’t push him back.
Deku tries to stand and rejoin the fight but collapses almost instantly. Eraser Head explains that while Rewind fixed his arms, it didn’t heal the rest of the damage his body took from fighting Tomura. Deku tells him he gave up his Quirk, but he can still feel the remaining embers of One For All inside him.
As Full Cowl begins to recharge, Deku starts running. He gets trapped by falling rubble, but Aoyama pushes him forward and destroys the debris with Navel Laser, telling Deku to keep going without him. Eraser Head attempts to have Kurogiri warp Deku to All For One, but Kurogiri remains unresponsive as the dark mist fully covers his face.
All For One prepares to attack
With no other choice, Eraser Head orders the Heroes to clear a path. At that moment, All For One activates Omni-Factor Unleash, forming a massive flesh cannon and firing a huge purple beam straight at Deku. Invisible Girl steps in and redirects the attack with her body.
With the help of dozens of Heroes, Deku continues moving forward. All For One becomes frustrated that they keep standing back up despite being completely worn down. Seeing the same determination in all of them, he realizes what separates them from All Might—the strength born from weakness, and the will to keep moving forward no matter how many times they fall.
As Deku keeps moving forward, he’s supported by the voices of everyone who believes in him—his mom, his friends, his mentors, and the people he’s saved. Their support pushes him to reach All For One. Deku launches into the air, gathers One For All into his right arm, and pulls back for a final strike. All For One tries to counter with his tendrils, but Deku dodges them and slams a Final Smash directly into his chest, breaking through the attack.
All For One finally realizes how weakened his body is. Super Regeneration can’t keep up, Danger Sense is overloaded by threats on all sides, and the damage from Deku and the vestiges during the takeover has left the body unstable. The full power of One For All tears through what’s left of him, destroying his torso and causing his body to fall apart. Across the battlefield, the Quirks he released begin to disappear.
AFO is finally defeated
Even then, All For One refuses to accept defeat and tries to crudely hold his body together with his Quirks. Desperate, he considers starting over by transferring himself into another hero. Before he can act, Dynamight rockets in from the city at full speed and destroys Kurogiri with a point-blank explosion.
With nothing left, All For One shouts for Deku to never surpass him. Deku yells back that he’ll never forgive him for his crimes, but he doesn’t see him as some unstoppable monster—and prepares to finish the fight.
All For One panics as Deku closes in, begging him to get away while memories of Yoichi flood back. Deku strips away the Demon Lord image and calls him what he really is—a lonely old man. As Deku crushes his hand and lands the finishing blows, All For One’s vestige sinks into darkness, remembering a rare happy moment from their childhood reading comic books together.
In the vestige realm, the remaining fragment of Yoichi appears and confronts his brother one last time, telling him that his failures and cruelty have finally caught up to him. The other One For All vestiges arrive, with an enraged Tomura pushing forward. Deku and Tomura strike together, destroying All For One in both the physical and spiritual worlds at once. With that final hit, the war between heroes and villains finally comes to an end.
