Shoto has defeated Dabi, everyone rejoices at the win. They praise an exhausted Todoroki, they other students on the battlefield are inspired turning the tide. At the Jaku Hospital Ruins, in front of Gigantomachia’s Detainment Facility, Pinky, Mt. Lady, Red Riot, and other U.A. Students. The Paranormal Liberation Front is surprised that the students have put up this much of a fight. At the Takoba National Stadium, Sugarman and Tailman are proud of Shoto. Despite the fact that Dabi is frozen he’s still alive and his chest begins to glow purple suggesting that he’s prepared to continue.
The majority of this episode is about Endeavor. At the Gunga Mountain Ruins, All For One attempts to manipulate Endeavor by pointing out that he abandoned Shoto to fight Toya (Dabi) on his own, He accuses Endeavor of “ruining the lives of two of his sons.” Hawk tries to support Endeavor. In a flashback, Hawk recalls a conversation with Endeavor and Best Jeanist regarding the single greatest weakness of All For One, his life support mask.
The smallest team
Hawk notes that even in the jailbreak All For One was seen to have a need for it. Hawk decides that a massive group of fighter would only result in All For One stealing more Quirks for himself. He decided that it was best for him and Endeavor to fight together as the smallest team possible. Endeavor attacks with Hell Curtain, while Hawk tries and fails to attack AFO’s mask from behind. AFO claims that Hawks is too “predictable,” and even with Recovery Girl Healing he’s not “back to his old self.”
Endeavor attacks AFO with an overwhelming barrage. He blocks with Hardflame Fan but Endeavor’s heat passes through and it cannot be reflected with Impact Nullification. AFO continues to try and manipulate Endeavor, he reveals that he hid Toya’s body from Endeavor. Hawks is surprised AFO had this card up his sleeve and claims that Endeavor wouldn’t have been able to defeat Dabi in his current state. Endeavor and Hawks aren’t enough to defeat AFO. When Hawks is in danger of taken a devasting hit, Earphone Jack and Tsukuyomi intervene. AFO dismisses them as “side characters.”
Earphone Jack responds confidently that AFO should beat them before making comments. Realizing that Earphone Jack and Tsukuyomi are trying to buy time for Endeavor to recover. He shoots off a number of creepy mouths from his fingertips. Hawk gives aid. AFO then combines several Quirks to produce a cannon that blows Earphone Jack’s ear off.
