My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 6: “Division”

Before Class 1-A heads out from U.A., All Might, Naomasa, and Nezu gather the students to reveal their plan to deceive All For One. They remind the class that it’s unlikely they’ll be tracked during their search. This actually plays to their advantage, as it gives them a chance to draw All For One out by making him overconfident. Naomasa explains that they believe All For One is using Search to monitor everything. Everything they’ve done since Izuku returned has been to make All For One think they’re getting worn out, which will allow them to catch him off guard. They’ll use Shota’s plan, with Yuga choosing the location to lure him out.

The class is excited about Yuga’s involvement, but Momo quickly reminds them of the danger: Yuga’s father said they’d be killed if they lied, which means All For One must have a way to detect lies. Naomasa reassures them, explaining that since they only communicate with All For One through voice and can’t verify anything with his hidden allies, he must rely on voice to determine the truth. If they can deceive him through their voices, they can get him to show up.

Hitoshi Shinso for the win

Hitoshi Shinso had an identity crisis considering the assumed nature of his Quirk. It’s ironic that it’s him that allows the actual traitor, Yuga to then betray All For One. He explains that he’ll be able to brainwash Yuga and his parents, ensuring that their motives and emotions won’t interfere. Class 1-A cheers on Hitoshi, praising his growth and Shota’s training.

Meanwhile, at Kurogiri’s cell in Central Hospital, Shota and Vlad King inform Neito Monoma about All Might’s special request, asking if he can handle it. Neito questions whether they’re serious about him copying and mastering the Warp Gate Quirk in just a few days. Shota apologizes, explaining they’ve been unable to reach Kurogiri and aren’t sure if he is Kurogiri or Oboro Shirakumo right now. He also mentions that with only one eye, his Erasure is almost useless, meaning he’ll be sidelined in the battle. Neito recalls hearing that during the Jaku City incident, it would’ve been a complete massacre without Shota.

Neito reflects on being told all his life that he can’t become a Hero with his Quirk, always seen as just a supporting character. Vlad King reassures him, emphasizing that this plan wouldn’t work without everyone’s help and that there’s no such thing as a bit player—Neito has always been a star. Hitoshi then uses his Brainwashing on Yuga and his parents to contact All For One, and on the day of the operation, Neito uses Warp Gate to summon all the Heroes to the battlefield.

Split them up

The Heroes and Villains charge at each other, while All Might and the Counterforce watch from Central Hospital. They know exactly what’s coming—he’ll try to finish it all here to get One For All. Tomura touches the ground and notices something odd, so he tells Dabi to attack. Dabi taunts his father, ready to burn everyone with his fire, but a huge explosion of ice cancels it out. Shoto and Class 1-A emerge from another Warp Gate, joining the battle, with Dabi and Shoto yelling at each other.

All For One wonders if they’re gearing up for an all-out brawl when All Might activates the Troy system. Suddenly, cages rise from beneath the battlefield, trapping each villain in a metal container. All For One realizes they could break out easily, but then he sees their plan. All Might and Naomasa declare that even though they’ve tried to take him down before and All Might was badly injured, they’re still alive, and this time they’ll succeed. Neito summons more Warp Gates around the cages as the Heroes get ready to split up the villains.

Begin Phase 2, Floating U.A. High

With nearly everyone warped, All Might orders Fat Gum to capture the remaining threats and keep an eye on Can’t Stop Twinkling, praising him for his bluff. He then tells Phantom Thief to regroup with Eraser Head. Now that the separation is successful, they can start Phase 2.

At the ruins of the Gunga Mountain Villa, Endeavor and a squad of Heroes corner All For One and his villains. Hawks tries to strike All For One straight in the head with his Quirk, but can’t get through his mask. Endeavor points out that they recognized All For One’s Warping Quirk from the Kamino Incident and saw it was weaker than Kurogiri’s Warp Gate. They considered all this when building the U.A. Barrier, and now All For One’s hubris will be his downfall.

All For One mocks the heroes’ plan to split them up, saying they had no choice because of the decline in heroes. He points out how foolish it was to pit “One For All” against Tomura and, worst of all, to have Shoto face off against Dabi. All For One criticizes Endeavor for making his youngest son clean up his mess and continuing the abuse toward the oldest.

Meanwhile, at the now floating U.A. High, Tomura is warped into the enclosed structure. Dynamight warns Best Jeanist that something went wrong—Deku isn’t there. Elsewhere, Deku is warped to an aquarium with Uravity and Froppy, thanks to Himiko using her whip. Uravity is shocked to see him, while Deku, confused why his Danger Sense didn’t activate, stares down Himiko.

Coffin in the Sky

Tomura Shigaraki realizes he’s floating in the sky, the only one warped here. He tells himself not to take over this time and decays the ground to create a shockwave aimed at the Heroes. But instead, chunks of metal blast into the air, knocking Tomura into the electromagnetic barrier above. He’s frozen just long enough for Best Jeanist to grab him with his carbon fibers and toss him back onto the battlefield.

Best Jeanist explains that no matter how superhuman Tomura is, a strong enough current will make his body stiffen up momentarily, giving them just enough time to react. Breaking free from the fibers, Tomura sees that the decayed ground has sprung into the air and disintegrated. He mocks them, saying they’ll run out of terrain sooner or later. But Jeanist, unfazed, comments they have plenty of material to spare. New pieces emerge from the cracks, and he states the arena was specifically designed to defeat Tomura: a coffin in the sky.
