Endeavor lands on the ground after being impaled by All For One (AFO). He’s ashamed he let AFO get to him and thinks that “everything he’s had to deal with he’s brought on himself.” In the air, Hawks, Earphone Jack, and Tsukuyomi fight AFO, who continues to be dismissive of his opponents. He targets the “weakest,” of the three, Earphone Jack. She’s in pain having her ear being torn off in the last episode. She rejects his constant obsession with strength, claiming to only care about those who made her friends cry. She shoots out a powerful attack: Heartbeat Surround Legato.
When AFO tries to attack them he’s held back by the vestiges inside him. AFO this is possible. Earphone Jack call for Hawks, who strikes AFO for the third time in the same spot on his mask. Hawks combines his katana with Earphone Jacks attack to create a “Soundwave Vibration- Enhanced Flight Feather Blade,” that destroys part of AFO’s mask revealing his face. With that crack in his mask Tsukuyomi and Dark Shadow, uses Black Abyss and Ragnarök: Fleeting Blow destroying AFO’s mask. AFO realizes his senses are lagging. After losing his eyes and ears, he compensated with sensory Quirks. He doesn’t attribute his failure to Earphone Jack’s ability but to his Quirks rebelling.
Endeavor’s return
AFO uses Rivet Stabs to attack the heroes and repair his mask. Endeavor returns to the fight just in time. Without his right arm, Endeavor still manages to unleashes a fiery fist and strike AFO with it, declaring that “as long as he’s alive, he will do his duty and finish this fight.” AFO tries to defend himself while Endeavor continues his assault. AFO claims that he never thought that Endeavor would never be capable of the type of damage he suffered. Endeavor unleashes Vanishing Jet Burn sending AFO crashing into the ground. The heroes on the ground scatter to avoid Endeavor’s fire.
AFO becomes desperate. With his mask being destroyed and his body no working properly, he tries to steal Endeavor’s Quirk, however, Endeavor counters with laser beams. Endeavor uses Prominence Burn on AFO, turning the villain into a charred body. Endeavor assumes that AFO cannot recover due to the later not having Hyper Regeneration or an enhanced body. However, AFO has another card to play. He begin to recall Eri and her Quirk and begins to restore his body. He asks Endeavor “what made him think Heroes were the only ones to make “sacrificial moments.”
Bakugo’s sacrifice
In the Coffin in the Sky, Tomura continues to duplicate his body. The heroes try to avoid becoming overwhelmed by the ever growing fingers, arms, and hands. Bakugo grows tired of Tomura’s rambling and decides to attack him with his Suppressive Heavy Mobile Unit: Strafe Panzer. The rest of the heroes target Tomura together. Bakugo begins to shoot of pieces of Tomura’s extended “body.” He then uses his Howitzer Impact Cluster technique. It causes a massive explosion but Tomura, while burned, isn’t seriously injured. He breaks Bakugo’s arm.
The others heroes race to try and get to Tomura and Bakugo, before the former can harm Bakugo further. They’re unsuccessful due to Tomura attack. Tomura appears to target Bakugo once again, as Deku races towards them.
