This episode opens with a the nude Nui, Ragyo and Ryuko as the explain the fact that Ragyo and Ryuko are the only ones that can wear Junketsu. After kissing Nui, Ryuko fly’s off to face Satsuki. Satsuki and Ryuko exchange words before Satsuki and Senketsu transform. Satsuki synchronizes very quickly with Senketsu.
Ryuko mocks Satsuki’s power, in response she uses Senketsu’s “Blade Flash” then Senketsu’s “Gale”. She then improvises and use a combination of the two, “Blade Gale”. Meanwhile, Nui is seen building something rather large with life fibers embedded within it.
Ryuko appear mildly damaged by Satsuki’s attack, she mocks Senketsu’s look as being ” half-assed”. She say’s that Senketsu is “ugly”, Satsuki on the other hand defends Senketsu as a sign of “human ingenuity”. She states that Senketsu is design to maximize its power without over taking the host.
Ryuko seems to be completely taken over by Junketsu’s power, and she quickly begins to dominate Satsuki. The Four Devas intervene almost managing to rip Junketsu off. However, Nui arrives to save her and tells the others that Junketsu is sewed onto Ryuko. Mako “leaps into action”, as the COVER’s are release to overtake mankind. Ragyo begins the “Genesis of the cocoon planet”, the original life fiber begins to travel to “where it all began”.

Senketsu saves her and in the process takes some of her blood. Satsuki now naked engages in battle with Nui, where she suspects that Nui doesn’t trust the control they have over Ryuko.
She states that Nui reluctance to give Ryuko the other half of the scissor shows that she is “still a touch anxious”. Three of the Four Devas arrive to battle Nui as Satsuki turn her attention to Ryuko. Nui orders Ryuko to kill Mako and Senketsu, Mako’s family interferes. As she aims to kill them Satsuki arrives and cut a wound in Ryuko. She orders Mako and Senketsu to enter, forcing Ryuko to release Junketsu.
While within Ryuko we get a strange encounter between Mako, Senketsu and Ryuko. She slices through Senketsu, who in turn gushes blood. Nui assumes that their attempt to change her mind fail, but when her back is turned Ryuko throws her Scissor through it. Enraged she rips of Junketsu, preparing to die while she does it.
Opinion:
This episode feature a lot of action and it’s more than worth the wait. The unpredictability of this episode was the most enjoyable. I couldn’t tell which way the tide would turn, and whether Satsuki stood a chance.
I was impressed with Satsuki’s abilities as a fighter. I’m hoping that Nui actually dies, she just annoying but I doubt it. I wonder if Junketsu is destroyed or would pieces of it survive being reused for Satsuki.
Mako added her usual humor and disruption to this episode, I was surprised by the fact that she appeared in the episode as much as she was. She was very effective in this episode, although I’m disappointed that she didn’t fight with Senketsu though I’m not surprise she didn’t.
