Hana, Dera, Left, Right, and Yuru all arrive to Hana’s home. Yuru is shocked and impressed by her home as it seems modern compared to his usual home in the village. We are introduced to Hana’s daemons a cat and dog called Zenko-Koro. Yuru insults them and as a result is scratched and punched in the stomach. The fact that a cute cat and dog does it makes it funny. Right and Left demand he shows respect.
Elsewhere, Asa practices her abilities on an apple, she however misses it completely. Suddenly, a old man she calls “Master” arrives with two body guards and Jin. He as Jin clean up the mess and visits with Gabby. He encourages her to recover, Asa to protect her, while watching out for the Kagemori Clan, and Jin to search for Yuru. Back at the house, Yuru heads outside to see the new world. He decides with Right and Left they should find Asa.
It’s a trap.
They transform into the lighting form and use their scent ability to locate Asa. They head into a car park where Jin is with two associates. When Yuru sees Asa, he rushes to get to her but he is swallowed by Jin’s Daemon. The Asa turns out to be fake, as Jin used a vial of Asa’s blood to trick them. The fake Asa turns into his Daemon he calls “the Scavenger.”
The other two associates call for Right and Left to “come out.” However, they smell the other Daemon’s that the associates have. Instead of coming up with a plan, they decide to just walk towards them unharmed. One of the associates named Haruo, begs them to surrender because Yuru is a “hostage.” Right and Left’s behavior surprises Jin, as they’re not deferential enough to Yuru. Jin has his Daemon to release several guns that have no effect on Right and Left.
They use knives, a katana, and a missile launcher. Nothing works. Haruo decides to use his Daemon’s a turtle and a rabbit. Yuru throws his knife at the turtle distracting it and freeing Left to free him from Jin’s Daemon. Right turns into his lighting form and destroys the lights in the car park. In the darkness, Yuru gets behind Jin and manages to get behind him. When Yuru asks Jin who order the violent invasion of his village, Jin says he “alone” demanded it.
Yuru can’t bring himself to kill Jin but asks him to call Asa instead. He wants to talk.
