The girls try to escape but end up right back where they started. Realizing they’re stuck, Agott tells them to find cover and come up with a plan. Once they do, Coco notices Tetia sitting alone in a corner, clearly scared. She gives her the cap and even offers her own cloak to help calm her down.
That moment makes Tetia realize she’s been putting pressure on Coco and making her feel guilty. Wanting to fix that, she casts a spell that brings them inside a cloud-like space. She explains this is something she’s always wanted to do, sleep on a cloud, and she’s been working on the spell for a while. Agott and Richeh immediately start picking it apart, but Agott quickly shuts it down and reminds them they still need to escape.
A plan to distract the dragon
Coco then brings up the casting seal she saw earlier, and the group figures that it’s what’s trapping them there. Now the problem is how to reach it. Agott says the only way is to defeat the dragon, but Coco has another idea. After hearing Tetia talk about the cloud spell, she comes up with a plan to use it as a distraction. Since the dragon already hurt itself crashing into a wall, Coco thinks making it comfortable might work. Her idea is simple, put it to sleep on a bed of clouds.
Agott assigns roles to everyone, leaving Coco out since she still doesn’t trust her with drawing casting seals. While the others work, Coco watches closely and starts practicing on her own, copying what they’re doing without saying anything. Agott struggles to figure out how to make a cloud strong enough to support the dragon’s weight, but that changes when she notices Coco’s progress.
A happy dragon
After repeating the process over and over, Coco finally manages to draw a clean fire spell seal, impressing Tetia and Richeh. Seeing that, Agott realizes they can use a repetition spell for the plan. They combine multiple seals to create a sand-based cloud, and by layering it with repetition magic, the sand continuously regenerates, making it strong enough to hold the dragon. Once everything is ready, the dragon happily settles onto the cloud and falls asleep. Tetia watches in awe, realizing it’s the first time her magic has truly made someone happy.
Tetia asks to see the casting spell at the top of the tower. When they reach it she doesn’t know what to do, so she erases part of it to undo the magic. Outside, Qifrey finds the same spell and gets pulled into an alternate dimension. The force of the portal causes the tower to start collapsing, and a distracted Agott falls.
Qifrey’s impressive skill
Qifrey quickly figures out what’s happening and saves her. He moves her to safety and immediately starts drawing a spell to fight the dragon. As it attacks, he releases a spell that creates a massive water dragon, which easily overwhelms it and knocks it out.
Tetia and Richeh fly up to him, and he relaxes once he sees they’re safe. But Coco is missing. Meanwhile, Coco is with the Brimmed Cap in a dark, strange place. She’s unconscious while they talk about the “seed” they planted growing. They say they prepared this test just for her and that they can teach her more than Qifrey. Then they disappear, leaving her behind.
Coco wakes up in Tehran with everyone around her. She cries and apologizes, but Qifrey tells her they escaped because of her idea and that it’s just as important as drawing strong casting seals. When Nolnoa arrives, Qifrey tells him to look into the ink used by the Brimmed Cap. With a serious look, he also tells him to keep it a secret from the other witches.
