The Surface Team continues clearing out low-level monsters trying to escape from underground. As the Striking Team looks for a way out, a Demon-level monster called Building Booper appears and blocks their escape by blowing up several buildings. Child Emperor’s group finally finds a manhole leading to the surface, but it is buried under two collapsed buildings. Saitama, Child Emperor, Underdog Man, and Waganma push on it together and manage to force it open.
As Sekingar asks Green to create another exit, everyone is stunned when the two buildings and Building Booper are suddenly sent flying into the air. Child Emperor emerges with Waganma, Saitama, and Underdog Man. The other heroes assume Child Emperor was responsible, not realizing it was actually Saitama. Sekingar notices Saitama and questions who he is. Child Emperor explains that he rescued him and introduces him as a hero. When Sekingar asks Saitama if he was taken hostage, Saitama casually says he only went underground to complain about the noise. This irritates Sekingar, who tells him to leave, and Saitama quietly heads back underground.
Waganma confesses
Child Emperor then uses his communicator to inform the Striking Team that Waganma is safe. Zombieman responds soon after, praising him for a job well done, which clearly excites Child Emperor. Sweet Mask interrupts to declare that justice will continue, while Pig God comments that everything seems normal as he keeps eating.
The situation changes when Atomic Samurai reports that he has found a child being chased by a black monster inside the base. Child Emperor is shocked, and Waganma realizes the child must be Tareo. Before Child Emperor can get the location, the transmission cuts off. Determined to save him, Child Emperor prepares to go back underground despite Waganma’s protests. Waganma argues that Child Emperor has already used his ultimate weapon and should let others handle it, but Child Emperor insists on going. He turns down help from Mizuki and Needle Star, telling them to stay and protect the surface.
Finally, Waganma admits that the child is Tareo, describing him and revealing they were held in the same cell. He apologizes for not saying anything sooner, explaining that fear stopped him. Child Emperor thanks him for being honest, reassures him, and heads off to rescue Tareo.
Atomic Samurai vs Black Sperm
Atomic Samurai confronts Black Sperm, who immediately complains about being attacked without warning and mocks Atomic Samurai’s introduction. Atomic Samurai says he has no interest in him, which enrages Black Sperm and causes him to form a huge muscular arm. When Black Sperm accuses Atomic Samurai of looking down on him, Atomic Samurai bluntly answers yes and slices the arm apart. He notes that he has fought plenty of shape-shifting enemies that grow into giants and knows how to handle opponents like this.
The arm splits and another Black Sperm clone appears, annoying Atomic Samurai. Black Sperm explains that he is a fusion of countless Black Sperms and can multiply endlessly no matter how many times he is cut down. Atomic Samurai says he will simply keep slashing until he wins. He cuts Black Sperm into pieces, but each piece turns into more clones that surround him. As he keeps attacking, the numbers grow faster and begin to overwhelm him. Soon Atomic Samurai is completely surrounded by a massive swarm. Black Sperm declares the fight over and says Atomic Samurai is going to die. Overpowered by sheer numbers, Atomic Samurai is beaten into the ground and badly injured. As a last resort, he slashes the ceiling, causing it to collapse on everyone.
Zombieman vs Homeless Emperor
Elsewhere, Zombieman feels the violent vibrations and worries about what the other heroes are facing. Homeless Emperor suddenly appears behind him and asks why he cares about the others dying. Before Zombieman can react, Homeless Emperor fires a point-blank energy blast, showing how the other heroes are being killed with instant death. He is disappointed that Zombieman went down so easily and declares that he will kill all seventeen S-Class heroes on his own. Moments later, Zombieman regenerates from the smoke and charges at him with an axe, but Homeless Emperor counters and shoots him in the head with another focused energy blast.
Homeless Emperor stands over Zombieman’s decapitated body, which lies completely still. Just as he assumes the fight is over, a gunshot suddenly fires from Zombieman’s upper body. Homeless Emperor reacts instantly, deflecting the attack and blasting Zombieman into a wall. Zombieman is shocked that Homeless Emperor could respond so quickly at such close range. Even with his body heavily damaged, Zombieman regenerates and pulls a gun from inside himself, firing multiple shots. Homeless Emperor counters with several energy orbs that explode on impact, leaving Zombieman’s charred body standing in the smoke. Homeless Emperor mocks him, impressed that he’s still standing.
Homeless Emperor’s past
As his body slowly regenerates, Zombieman asks Homeless Emperor what he really is. While stalling for time, he admits he doesn’t understand how Homeless Emperor’s power works. Homeless Emperor begins explaining his past. He says that just a month ago he was an ordinary homeless man living in a park after losing his job, being evicted, and abandoned by society. He recalls being humiliated by his boss at a company party and fired the next day over false accusations. With nothing left, he turned to nature and came to believe the Earth and sky were far greater than anything humanity had created.
Homeless Emperor says he eventually realized that humans abandoned the natural ecosystem of Mother Earth and replaced it with artificial rules. In his eyes, humanity became foolish and destructive. Believing that death would return him to the Earth, he became suicidal. At his lowest point, an entity he calls “God” appeared before him. The being agreed with his views, granted him his powers, and ordered him to destroy human civilization. According to Homeless Emperor, he was chosen because he understood the truth: humanity’s existence harms the planet.
Still regenerating and unable to fight back yet, Zombieman asks why Homeless Emperor believed the entity was truly “God.” Homeless Emperor dismisses the question, saying belief is irrelevant. He tells Zombieman that his arrogance will lead to his death and that, like all humans, he will eventually return to the Earth.
Puri-Puri Prisoner faces Baquma
Several monsters attack Puri-Puri Prisoner, but none of their attacks work on him. Confused and alarmed, they can’t understand how he’s still standing. Puri-Puri Prisoner explains that by accepting pain with love he can endure anything, naming the technique Angel ☆ Hug. Realizing they’re outmatched, the monsters try to run, but a Demon-level monster, Baquma, appears and inhales them, absorbing their powers. Electric Catfish Man narrowly avoids being swallowed.
Baquma then turns his attention to Puri-Puri Prisoner and launches a barrage of attacks, but they have no effect. When Baquma mocks the hero’s twitching, Puri-Puri Prisoner reveals it’s the basis of a new fighting style, Vibration ☆ Angel. He smashes straight through Baquma and defeats him. Maiko Plasma survives inside Baquma and is rescued by Electric Catfish Man.
After the battle, Puri-Puri Prisoner hears the voices of the monsterfied inmates and mourns their transformation into Mysterious Beings. Believing they were forced to serve the Monster Association, he vows to save them. The inmates try to explain their hatred toward him, but he ignores them. Nyan interrupts, declaring that once a human becomes a monster there is no going back. He slashes Puri-Puri Prisoner, seriously injuring him, and leaves the rest to the inmates. Even then, Puri-Puri Prisoner insists that as long as the heart is human, one is still human.
Puri-Puri Prisoner then notices his body is covered in hair that acts as armor, which he names Angel ☆ Bristle Armor. Disturbed by his behavior, Nyan decides to leave him to the other executives and escapes through a narrow crack. Puri-Puri Prisoner gives chase, inventing Angel ☆ Crawl, but accidentally crushes most of the inmates under falling debris. He accepts their sacrifice and swears revenge, while the lone surviving inmate head voices irritation at his actions.
