Sentomaru and Stussy discuss the governments intentions regarding Egghead Island. The mission of CP-0 is to kill Dr. Vegapunk and wait for Kizaru to arrive. Sentomaru warns that the government is treating this situation more seriously than they did in Ohara’s. Due to the fact that Dr. Vegapunk has “inherited,” Ohara’s forbidden research and is making progress. and second, Egghead has battle capabilities that Ohara didn’t possess. Sentomaru tells the researcher if they don’t want to suffer at the hands of the Navy they need to flee now.
Traitor is revealed
In the lab where Dr. Vegapunk is captured, he finally sees the traitor. Luffy, Zoro, Lucci, and Kaku are struggling to defeat S-Hawk and S-Bear. Luffy notices that S-Hawk escapes. Lucci notes that the Seraphim is likely heading for the “weak” targets before dealing with the more “troublesome” ones like themselves. He elaborates further that the mental effect from killing the friends of the stronger opponents. Zoro and Kaku head off to find S-Hawk, while Luffy and Lucci fight S-Bear. Luffy hits the Seraphim with Gomu Gomu no Hawk Gatling. The intense Gatling doesn’t have much effect as the fire remains lit.
At the Sacred Marijoa, three months ago, the traitor reveals that Dr. Vegapunk is researching the 100 year void. CP5 was sent to investigate the tip. They found no evidence but the ship they were on disappeared. CP7 then CP8 were sent to the Island to investigate the disappearance. The Five Elders sent CP0 to assassinate Dr. Vegapunk. In the old research lab we finally see who the traitor is York.
