However, several shadowy figures appear and violently recapture Kuma. He begs for death as the shadowy figure begin hitting him with clubs. It’s quiet a heartbreaking and brutal scene. In the present, the real Kuma is still trying to climb the Red Line while the Navy tries to stop him.
Inside the lab, Pythagoras is attacked by an unknown assailant while searching for Dr. Vegapunk. Shaka send snails to record the area but the smoke makes it hard to see. The unknown assailant attacks the snail blocking Shaka’s vision. The intruder continues to destroy cam snails preventing the recording of various area’s. Meanwhile the others continue to search for Dr. Vegapunk. It’s revealed that it’s S-Snake that’s destroying the cam snails.
With the video feeds off everyone’s blind. Franky, Usopp, and the others find Pythagoras body. Suddenly, York is attacked by S-Snake who turns her to stone with her Mera Mera Devil Fruit ability. It seems the Strawhat’s have more danger to deal with, while still needing to escape with Dr. Vegapunk from the Marines.
