The Pacifista corners Bonney, Luffy, Chopper, and Jinbe, who decide to fight. However, Bonney uses her Devil Fruit ability to transform herself and Jinbe into children and Luffy and Chopper into the elderly. The Pacifista can no longer identify them so it stops its pursuit and leaves.
Jinbei explains what he learned about Kuma. He claims that Kuma was a “tyrannical King,” of Sorbet Kingdom, he was overthrown by his people, became a pirate, and a member of the Revolutionary Army. At some point, Kuma is captured by the Government. He was given the opportunity to become a member of the Seven Warlords. Jinbei claims that he heard Kuma volunteered himself to become a cyborg, however, Bonney disputes this, claiming that he was forced.
The Straw Hats enter the Vegapunk’s Lab
She says her father “hated,” the World Government and would never cooperate with them. The World Government is not to be trusted and it’s in their best interest to paint Kuma and anyone that might make them look bad in a negative light. Elsewhere, Lilith and the other Straw Hats arrive at their destination. Zoro and Brooke refuse to leave the ship and trust Lilith. The crew suit up and enter the lab. There, they encounter a Seraphim like Jinbei. It prepares to attack them.
The Vegapunk, Shaka (Good), is talking to Dragon, claiming that he has predicted his own death. One Piece has a massive cast of characters and many of them have been mysterious for most of the series. Dragon is probably at the top of this list. What we do know is that Monkey D. Dragon is Luffy’s father, son of Monkey D. Garp, he rescued Sabo, and was once a member of the Marines like his father. Along with Kuma, the Five Elders, and Imu, Dragon is the character I want to learn more about this arc.
