Tomura and Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight take center stage as they fight in the U.A. Flying Fortress. Tomura takes the biggest shot Bakugo can produce. Bakugo is surprised how little his attack effected Tomura. He tells Bakugo that he’ll use him as bait for Deku. The Big 3, Suneater, Nejire Chan, and Lemillion prepare to fight Tomura together. Suneater tries to poison him but he creates another mouth and spits the poison out. Together they manage to free Bakugo from Tomura. The primary goal of the trio is to distract Tomura long enough for Deku to arrive.

Best Jeanist tries to help Bakugo and realizes that Bakugo is muttering the behavior of Tomura, “right side finger feint.” Elsewhere, Lemillion tells Tomura that if he had friends he would understand what it’s like to protect someone. This seems to have a mental effect on Tomura, who loses his cool, yelling that “Mikkun and Tomo said he was nice.” The moment is played for laugh which seems inappropriate or at least a missed chance to learn more about Tomura. Lemillion apologizes and decides not to push the issue further.

Tomura’s identity crisis

Tomura continues to have an identity crisis. He target’s Bakugo while the Big 3 rush to stop him. We get a flashback from Nejire, focusing on how she meets Lemillion and Suneater. Using her powers she pushes Tomura into Suneater that uses Vast Hybrid Plasma Cannon. Tomura appears unharmed. Bakugo attacks again this time he can dodge Tomura’s attacks using his Quirk to propel his body at high speeds. Tomura has memories of another Quirk user, the Second User of One For All, Kudo. This causes him to rage. He attacks Bakugo, as the rest of the heroes try in vain to save him.

But, when Best Jeanist reaches for Bakugo he notices that Bakugo doesn’t have a heartbeat, shocking everyone.
