Jabber, now unconscienced goes off on Rudo, who moves to avoid endangering Gris and Follo. Rudo is shocked at Jabbers “experience,” and how he successfully managed to counter Gris’s Lucky Charm. Jabber slashes at the columns causing debris to fall, forcing Rudo to move. Before Jabber manages to land at hit Zanka appears. He’s been analyzing Rudo and Jabbers fight and knows the limitation of Gris’s Lucky Charm. Zanka tells Rudo that he can’t move well enough to be effective. Zanka surprises Rudo when he tells him that Rudo needs to “let him hit him.”
Since Zanka cannot move, if he manages to attack Rudo his weapon will “react,” and “move,” Zanka. His gambit works and he manages to land a hit on Jabber. They repeat the attacks until Jabber snaps out of his unconscious state. Zanka delivers one more strike to Jabber and collapses. Unfortunately, Gris Lucky Charm begins to crumble. Rudo, poisoned by Jabber collapses as well and Jabbers uses his left claw to “make the pain go away.” He poisons Zanka again and tries to escape with Rudo.
Outside he encounters the Cleaners and Riyo knocks him into some rubble. Jabber is excited at the sight of the cleaners and prepares to fight them all to complete his mission. Suddenly, he’s stop by someone named Cthoni. They escape through a manhole Cthoni created. Gris is found and he tells Rudo that he’s grateful that his charm could be useful, and he “did good.”
