A classmate who’s been watching Okarun since he became friends with Momo finally tries to talk to him during class. Okarun ignores him until the guy calls him his “enemy.” When Okarun asks what he wants, the classmate questions how he’s managed to get so close to both Momo and Aira. Okarun denies any romantic connection, insisting they don’t see him that way.
Before he can say more, Momo bursts into the room shouting that she’s found his other kintama. The entire class freezes. Okarun panics and tries to quiet her, but Momo apologizes for interrupting and asks the classmate if he’s friends with Okarun. Embarrassed, he says yes, which makes Momo smile. Okarun quickly tries to get her to leave before things get worse. The classmate completely misreads her energy and decides that crude language must be what attracts girls.
The class rep walks in and tells Momo to stop barging into classrooms because it’s distracting. Momo agrees to be careful, but the rep assumes she’s pushing Okarun around and tells him he doesn’t have to listen to her. Momo snaps back, and the two argue until the first classmate blurts out a dirty joke, making things even more awkward.
The new classmate and the missing kintama
Later, Momo and Okarun head to an old apartment complex where the missing kintama might be. Momo brings up the class incident, wondering why the rep confronted her. Okarun admits it actually made him happy that someone spoke up for him. Momo laughs and teases that it’s because he’s popular now, which flusters him.
Meanwhile, the same classmate secretly follows them, trying to figure out their relationship. He gives himself away after kicking a paint can and is suddenly lifted into the air and thrown toward Momo. Thinking their lips might touch, he gets a little too excited—until Okarun pushes her aside. That’s when Okarun spots his missing kintama floating nearby. Momo reaches for it, but it reacts before she can grab it. When Okarun touches it, the golden orb throws him back. He realizes something inside it is alive.
When the strange object suddenly takes off, Momo and Okarun sprint after it, leaving their classmate behind to guard their bags at Momo’s request. But the chase quickly turns dangerous—the kintama starts fighting back. In the chaos, the invisible entity targets the classmate, nearly knocking him off the rooftop. Momo and Okarun manage to grab him just in time.
The invisible creature is a kaiju
As the creature reappears, the classmate tries to jump in and help but passes straight through it. Even so, he figures out what’s going on—the entity’s invisibility comes from retro-reflection tech, and by viewing it from three angles, they can now see parts of its body. Using that clue, Momo swings around the side of the building with her psychic powers and catches a glimpse of it. She grabs hold, giving Okarun the chance to land a full-power strike that sends the creature flying out of the building.
Momo praises the classmate for figuring out the trick, and he proudly explains the sci-fi logic behind invisibility. But their victory is short-lived. As they look down, they finally see the entity’s true form—a kaiju.
While Okarun identifies what it is, Momo realizes the kintama it was carrying has vanished and suggests they head down to investigate. Before they can move, the three freeze—the kaiju has already grown massive and is now staring straight at them through the gaping hole in the wall.
