Urahara is sweating heavily inside the Gift Ball Deluxe while Yoruichi lies on the ground nearby, still using Shunkō: Raijū Senkei: Shunryū Kokubyō Senki despite the strain. Askin floats down in his Vollständig, Hasshein active, and observes that Yoruichi’s Reiatsu is changing 48 times per second. He explains that if he can survive her attacks for just one second, he will experience all 48 variations and adapt to them. Realizing this, Urahara is visibly shocked. Askin concludes that all he needs is time to analyze her power and build immunity.
Urahara reaches into his robe, but Askin stops him and says there’s no point in trying to change Yoruichi’s Reiatsu any further. He explains how Hasshein works, stating that even if a poison changes on the surface, its base remains the same, allowing him to adapt and nullify it instantly. He admits the explanation might be long-winded but makes it clear that neither Urahara nor Yoruichi can harm him anymore.
Askin then wonders what Urahara will do next, assuming he must have another plan. He creates multiple spheres around himself and fires them into the area, forming the Gift Bereich. He notes that Urahara shouldn’t be surprised and explains that while he doesn’t like speaking in absolutes, escaping the Gift Bereich is impossible. Urahara comments that Askin clearly doesn’t want them to escape, and Askin confirms it, reminding him that they are enemies.
Askin blinds Urahara
Urahara notes that Askin doesn’t seem like someone driven by loyalty. Askin pretends to be offended and claims he has twice the loyalty of a Pomeranian, but admits Urahara is right. He explains that loyalty isn’t what matters most and reveals his real interest is Yhwach. Askin clarifies he doesn’t mean this in a condescending way and says only Yhwach could create a new world by destroying the Three Worlds. He adds that if Yhwach were to fall here, no one would be able to take his place. He also points out that Urahara is smart and has already seen everything there is to see.
Askin then asks if Urahara isn’t even curious about what Yhwach will create. This irritates Urahara, who draws his Zanpakutō and rushes forward, slashing upward. Askin quickly retreats using Hirenkyaku, moving in a zigzag pattern, surprised that Urahara can still move so fast inside the Gift Ball Deluxe. Urahara answers his question by saying he has no interest in seeing Yhwach’s new world. Askin is disappointed and says he thought Urahara was more like him. He then suggests that Mayuri Kurotsuchi might have agreed with his perspective.
Urahara explains that Mayuri wouldn’t want to see Yhwach’s creation either, because scientists believe new things should be created by their own hands. Impressed, Askin spins the bangle on his wrist and says he still wants to see Yhwach’s version. He enlarges it into a Gift Ring and throws it at Urahara. The ring disappears midair, catching Urahara off guard, before reappearing and piercing his eyes one after the other. Blood sprays across the floor as Urahara stumbles back. Askin explains that he uses this technique on enemies too strong to be affected by The Deathdealing.
Urahara’s Bankai
Urahara admits that Askin has him cornered and that there are no other options left. He activates his Bankai, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame. A giant version of Benihime emerges from the buildings behind him. As the surrounding shroud tears apart into fibers, Askin becomes visibly uneasy. He notes that Urahara’s Bankai was not included in the Daten provided by Yhwach. Urahara reveals this is the first time he has used it in front of anyone in Wahrwelt. Askin accepts that and asks what the Bankai can do. Urahara refuses to answer. Askin says he expected that and admits it is unsettling to face a Bankai without knowing its ability. Urahara tells him he will find out soon enough. Moments later, Askin sees his left arm split open.
Shocked, Askin quickly retreats into the air using Hirenkyaku. The wound in his arm closes with thread-like stitching. Urahara praises his composure, noting most people would panic and try to cut the arm off. Askin realizes the ability has a limited range and admits he is not willing to sever his arm. Urahara explains that Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame can reconstruct anything it touches. As Benihime’s fingers move across his face and pull back, Urahara’s eyes are restored.
Grimmjow reappears
With stitches now visible across his face, Urahara moves into the air using a thread from his blade. He closes the distance and slashes Askin’s shoulder, then uses the thread to maneuver and strike again. Askin blocks with his Reishi Staff, surprised that Urahara can see again. Urahara reconstructs his arm, removing the poison and strengthening it. He regains his grip and forces Askin down into the buildings below.
Urahara continues moving along threads at high speed and tries to press the attack, but Askin reappears behind him with Hirenkyaku and strikes his back with the Reishi Staff. The impact sends Urahara crashing through multiple buildings. Urahara questions if Askin plans to increase the Gift Ball Deluxe further. He retreats along another thread while Askin chases him across the rooftops. Urahara says he can barely move. Askin responds that the Bankai is dangerous even with that limitation. Urahara acknowledges this but states it is already too late. At that moment, Grimmjow appears behind Askin and drives his hand through his chest, ripping out his heart.
