After the fight with Acrobatic Silky wraps up, Aira sits down to eat with Momo, Okarun, Seiko, and Turbo Granny at the Ayase house. Things get tense when Momo realizes Aira is still hostile toward her, likely because of the basin incident during their first meeting. Acknowledging that she went too far, Momo apologizes but insists that Aira owes Okarun an apology too—for mocking him back then. Aira shrugs it off, saying she doesn’t hold a grudge over the basin. Instead, she calls Momo a demon and declares her an enemy to defeat.
This sparks a heated argument. Momo fires back, denying that she’s a demon, but Aira doubles down, pointing to Okarun’s transformation into Turbo Granny and Seiko’s youthful looks as proof that something’s not right. The bickering escalates until Aira warns Momo that she’ll face her again someday. Momo doesn’t back down and accepts the challenge.
Aria and Okarun get close
Before leaving, Aira turns to Okarun and asks why he saved her if he’s a demon. His reply—“It’s natural to help someone in need”—catches her off guard. For a moment, she thinks there’s still some humanity left in him. Flustered, she tells Okarun she’ll return to free him from Momo’s grasp, then blushes as she storms out, leaving Momo stunned. Later, in a rare lighthearted moment, Okarun happily gets his ball restored during a playful game of baseball between Turbo Granny and Seiko.
The next day at school, Momo suggests meeting Okarun on the rooftop to discuss the mystery of his missing ball. However, Okarun declines, saying he needs that time—and the time after lunch—to work on a report. Reluctantly, Momo agrees to let him be, deciding to spend lunch with Miko and Muko instead. Still, a nagging feeling eats at her, and she starts suspecting Okarun might be hiding something. When Miko jokingly suggests it could involve another girl, Momo brushes it off but can’t help thinking about Aira after their run-in the day before. While grabbing drinks for herself and Miko, an unease settles over her, and she wonders if she should check in on Okarun. Her suspicions grow when, in the courtyard, she spots Okarun—and to her shock, he’s on top of Aira.
Okarun and Momo are in danger
Outside the school earlier that day, Okarun had been training solo, following Seiko’s advice to prepare for their next paranormal encounter. While he’s focused, Aira suddenly shows up. Without warning, she tries to confess her feelings by leaning in for a kiss. Stunned, Okarun pulls back, asking what she’s doing. Aira awkwardly explains that she’s been following advice from “books” her father owns. Despite her fumbling attempts to express herself, Okarun panics and tries to fend her off, only to trip and fall on top of her. Just then, Momo walks into the courtyard and sees them—misinterpreting the scene entirely. Hurt and disappointed, she storms off before Okarun can explain.
Back in class, Momo struggles to focus during a lesson about the mantis shrimp, her frustration bubbling to the surface. Miko and Muko notice her strange behavior and joke that she might be possessed by the spirit of a mantis shrimp. Meanwhile, Okarun, equally distracted, resolves to clear things up with Momo and hopes to win back her trust.
Okarun is shocked to find his classroom flooded and eerily empty. As he wanders the halls, he runs into Aira, who assumes Momo is behind the strange situation. Okarun explains that he’s been trapped in this surreal environment, too. Meanwhile, Momo struggles to open the windows to escape, growing frustrated as she wonders if Okarun is in the same predicament. Her thoughts are interrupted by a noise, and she spots a snake-like creature in the distance.
Momo quickly hides, but the movement creates a ripple in the water. The creature responds with a destructive blast that obliterates her classroom. Luckily, she dodges the attack, but she’s left worrying about Okarun’s safety as the creature slithers away. Elsewhere, Okarun and Aira hear the commotion. Okarun recalls a similar encounter with the Flatwoods Monster and tells Aira that their only way out is to defeat the alien causing this chaos. Just then, they’re confronted by a crab-headed alien that attacks them. Okarun transforms into his Turbo Granny form, rescuing Aira and urging her to move to safety while he takes on the alien.
The fight doesn’t go well. Okarun is overpowered by the alien’s psychokinesis and reverts to his normal form. Before Aira can jump in to help, the Serpos arrive, questioning how she managed to enter their domain. They reveal their plan to take Okarun’s reproductive organs, believing they’ll gain the supernatural power he once demonstrated. Okarun admits the power was a curse and realizes he can’t transform back into Turbo Granny. As the Serpos prepare to use giant scissors to extract his “banana organ,” Aira transforms into a form resembling Acrobatic Silky. She uses her hair as a weapon to strike back at the Serpos, freeing Okarun. Declaring herself the chosen one, Aira demands the Serpos release him.
