Jinwoo, Mr. Song, the convicts and others slaughter goblins in the dungeon. Mr. Song notices that Jinwoo has changed. Eventually they reach a path in the dungeon that splits into three. Jinwoo, Lee, Mr. Song head off together to face the boss which Jinwoo can now sense, while Mr. Kim and Kang head up the middle. Taeshik takes the convicts to the last tunnel to the right. So far the dungeon is too easy.
Taeshik is monitoring the prisoners while they kill goblins. He flashes back to a meeting with the father of one of the convicts victims. He says his daughter was tortured, probably sexual assault, then she committed suicide. Her mother ended up hospitalizes after her daughters death. Desperate the father wants Taeshik to kill them. He kills two of them before Mr. Kim and Mr. Kang stumble upon him, before he decapitates the third. Taeshik decides he needs to kill Kim and Kang as well.
Jinwoo becomes suspicious and rushes to find Taeshik. What they witness is the remains of a bloodbath. Kang is death and Kim is barely breathing. Lee tries to heal Kim but it’s to late. However, before he can succumb to his injures, he apologize to Jinwoo. Taeshik tries to kill Lee but Jinwoo stops him. He rambles on in a tradition villain monologue. Assuming he’s the strongest one remaining Mr. Song intends to fight Taeshik alone. The problem is Mr. Song is a mage and is lower ranked. He has Lee perform a strength buff on him and Taeshik attacks.
Jinwoo verses Taeshik
The old man holds his own. With a little help from Lee he manages to surprise Taeshik but still doesn’t have enough. Of course, Jinwoo interferes just in time and Taeshik accuses him of “hiding skills.” Which is accurate. Jinwoo asks him why he felt the need to torture Kang and Kim instead of simply killing them. Taeshik is a monster that prefers to kill people over beasts. Taeshik and Jinwoo face off. They match with speed but Taeshik has more experience and is willing to fight dirty. As a result of Taeshik becoming a threat the system now views him as an enemy.
Now Jinwoo must kill him. Jinwoo speed increases and he hits Taeshik with his poisoned dagger. Taeshik uses his stealth skill to conceal himself. He manages to cut Jinwoo’s leg but Jinwoo uses “instant recovery,” to heal himself. Jinwoo activate his murderous intent skill. Jinwoo then stabs him through the chest. As the poison overtakes his body, Taeshik warns him that he’s getting too strong and may face consequences. Jinwoo heads further inside to face the boss. After the dungeon, they meet with Taeshik and he doesn’t seem to believe that the three remaining hunter, Jinwoo, Lee, and Mr. Song were capable of kill Taeshik. Regardless, to keep his strength a secret thanks to Mr. Song, but I wonder how long that will last.
