20. Gon vs Pitou
When Gon learn that Kite is dead he snaps. Dark aura surrounds him and Gon transforms. His powers increase to such a level that he rivals the Chimera Ant King. Neferpitou uses her Terpsichora, trying to kill him. Gon vanishes. She gives chase. She attacks him while his back is turned. He dodges, kicks her in the stomach, and uses his Jajanken. He punches with it at point blank range, sending her into the side of a mountain. He then brutally beats her head in, shattering her skull. Lifeless, Pitou corpse is still able to attack. She rips off Gon’s right arm, he’s unharmed. He finally finishes Pitou with another Jajanken.
19. Shimazaki vs Everyone
Shimazaki appears before Sho and Ritsu. Allowing Sho to enter the building, Ritsu attacks Shimazaki with fire extinguishers. Shimazaki starts beating Ritsu. Teru and the scars arrive. They engage in a highly explosive, fast paced group battle. Shimazaki is able to counter most of the attacks, until he’s gets distracted. However, he regains his composure just in time, defeating the group.
18. Luffy vs Doflamingo
Luffy and Doflamingo battle begins with a contest of Haoshoku Haki. Luffy is able to land a few blows against the Shichibukai. They clash with Haki again this time Doflamingo wins out, sending Luffy crashing into the edge of the roof. Using his Second Gear and Haki, Luffy sends Doflamingo flying. However, Doflamingo doesn’t think Luffy’s punches were very powerful. Later, Luffy attacks him with Red Hawk, causing a large explosion. Ineffective, Luffy activates his Third Gear. Doflamingo is able to easily dodge Gear Third Luffy.
Luffy activates Gear Fourth for the first time. In Gear Fourth, Luffy balloons, causing him to constantly bounce. He punches Doflamingo, sending him flying into buildings at high speeds. Luffy, now able to fly, dropkick him into several buildings. Luffy manages to dominate Doflamingo head to head, knocking him out with his King Kong punch.
17. Naruto and Sasuke vs Momoshiki
This is a bit of a remake from the Boruto movie. Naruto and Sasuke join forces to fight Momoshiki. After disrupting the Chunin Exams to kill Naruto when they try remove to the Nine-tails chakra. The fight is one of the best of the Boruto/Naruto series. The animation is spectacular, as Naruto and Sasuke combine their abilities to maximum effect. The two prove to be too much for the Otsutsuki clan member.
16. Saitama vs Genos
Genos kicks towards Saitama, but he misses. He follows that up with a barrage of punches that Saitama dodges. Genos uses his “incineration cannon,” more punches, and a more powerful incineration cannon, all of which Saitama evades. Genos reminds Saitama that he’s suppose to take the fight seriously. Saitama “hits” Genos with his Death Punch, blowing a massive hole in the mountains behind him.
15. Goku & Vegeta (Gogeta) vs Broly
Basically the majority of the new Broly movie is Goku and Vegeta trading fights against Broly. Later in the movie the two fuse to become Gogeta. After this transformation their a greater match for Broly. The battle is a high octane and quick, that is typical for the series. Gogeta gets the better of Broly, but the bout ends when Broly is teleported to safety.
14. Guy vs Madara
Guy’s use of the seventh gate, Gate of Wonder, wasn’t successful. He realizes that he must use the dreaded, eighth gate, Gate of Death. He knows that doing so will cost him his life. Guy uses his Evening Elephant, hitting Madara directly. With his life close to ending he doesn’t have too much time. He hopes to finish this fight with Night Guy. He charges at Madara, altering time, then kicking Madara in the side. He nearly kill Madara, but destroying most of his torso. However, Madara survives.
13. Goku vs Jiren
Ultra Instinct Goku faces off against Jiren once again in the final episodes of Dragon Ball Super. In the conclusion of the Tournament of Power, Goku masters Ultra Instinct and is finally able to dominate Jiren. This forces Jiren to increase his own power. Goku is almost defeat twice, but manages to survive. Jiren attacks Goku’s friends and family sitting on the bleachers. Goku becomes enraged, finally defeating Jiren. However, Goku collapses from the strain of using Ultra Instinct.
Victorious by default, Jiren refuses to knock Goku off at first. He is reminded by the God Belmond of what’s at stake. He resigns himself to defeating Goku, but tells him that ” he
will always live on in his memories even as he ceases to exist.” Frieza saves Goku, with the previous thought dead Android 17 revealing he survived. Jiren becomes exhausted as he fights Frieza and 17. Then Goku recovers and joins the fray. Goku, Frieza and 17 team up to fight Jiren together. Goku and Frieza overpower Jiren, knocking him off.
12. Kakashi vs Obito
At this point in the Naruto series most of the fighting was focused primarily on jutsu that have massive power. This fight was focuses on hand to hand combat. Beautifully directed, the childhood sparring match between Obito and Kakashi is paralleled with current fight to the death. Symbolizing the change in their relationship, this fight also had an emotional tone to it. Kakashi and Obito’s friendship is over and one must die.
11. Saitama vs Boros
Saitama often defeats his opponents in One Punch, however, Boros is a exception. Saitama’s initial punch destroys the “restraining armor” that Boros wears. After transforming he attacks Saitama. He easily blocks Boros attacks. He finally takes of Boros arm. They end up fighting outside. Boros is impressed that Saitama has survived this long. He regenerates, regrowing his arm. Using Meteoric Burst, he unleashes a torrent of powerful hits on Saitama, eventually knocking him to the moon. None of this effects Saitama. He returns from the moon, finally ready to take Boros seriously. He hit him with “consecutive normal punches” splattering Boros. Using his abilities, Boros returns. Using his strongest move, Collapsing Star Roaring Cannon, he plans to destroy the planet. Finally, Saitama uses Serious Series: Serious Punch, destroying Boros.
