The Promised Neverland Trailer

The Promised Neverland

The Promised Neverland is a manga series written by Kaiu Shirai and illustrated by Posuka Demizu. It’s set in 2045, the story focuses on Emma a 11 year old orphan. She lives in a small orphanage, Grace Field House, with her 37 “siblings.” The orphans are permitted to do as they pleased as long as they don’t leave the compound. When Conny is adopted, Emma and Norman follow her because she had left her stuff rabbit behind. They find Conny dead and realize that the orphanage is basically a farm for human children to be raised as food for demonic creatures.

The anime series will debut on January 11. The series will be animated by CloverWorks, which is the re-branded studio that was once Koenji Studio. Streamed on Amazon Video but only in Japan. However, it will be streamed on Crunchyroll and Hulu in America. Promised Neverland is a highly regarded manga series that has sold 6 million copies as of September 14, 2018. I have heard many good thing about it but never got around to reading the manga. Since it’s now an anime series I’ll be focusing on the anime instead.
