Attack on Titan won’t return until this spring but according to comicbook.com, Araki Tetsuro and Koizuka Masashi spoke with Animedia about what to expect from the rest of the season. Tetsuro stated that “things will kick off fast when the anime resumes.” The director said that “It will go straight into everyone’s much-anticipated combat with Titans. After that it’s battle after battle after battle – we’ll finally have a sudden death confrontation with the Titan Shifters.”
Koizuka “teased” the arrival of new weaponry. “Speaking of combat, there are new weapons in play. That weapon will become the responsibility of someone from Episode 49.” While I thought the pacing and focus on story was a refreshing change to the series and fighting and killing humans instead of Titans created an interesting conflict, I did start to miss the harrowing fights between Titans and humans. Of course I also believe that the second half of the season will feature deaths of some of our favorite scouts.

The second and third season trailer of FLCL was released. Cartoon Networks Adult Swim, along with Production IG revived the series. There will be a dozen episodes, divided between the two seasons. FLCL 2 and FLCL 3 will be released in 2018. The animation and style in the trailer is consistent with the previous season. However, the question is without the majority of the cast from the previous series, will FLCL still maintain elements that made it good?
The latest Pokemon anime series was just released in Japan on Thursday. An anime adaptation of the upcoming (Nov. 18) Pokemon Sun and Moon games, the new series looks to be a hit. I haven’t really watched a full season of Pokemon since the Sinnoh League, but I might be convinced to watch this series from start to finish. I’ve already seen the first two episodes and I really enjoyed them.
The art style of the series, particular Ashes new look was a point of controversy, but I didn’t really notice. The overall animation in the series was what I notice. The brighter colors, more dramatic facial reactions and fluid motion are much better than previous Pokemon anime. I’m excited for this upcoming season, although it will be weird without Pokemon gym, I hope there will be good battles. Anyway, if you want to check out the first two episodes without subtitles they’re on YouTube.
